Gutters are priced by the foot, so the length of roof edge that needs a gutter is the biggest number. Most one-story houses here need 150 to 200 feet.
One story or two
On a two-story house the downspouts are longer and the work is higher up, which pushes the price toward the top of the range.
How many downspouts
Florida storms need enough downspouts for the roof area. One downspout on a long roof run overflows at the corner, so we add downspouts where the roof needs them.
What the downspouts empty into
